Privacy Policy

Plain-language summary of what NightShift collects, why, and how long we keep it. Call the main line if you need specifics for your clinic.

Overview

Privacy-first by design.

What we collect

For clinics: the contact and business details you submit through our forms, plus the configuration information needed to build your receptionist. For callers: the details required to book, triage or return a call — typically name, phone number, reason for calling and, where relevant, a pet's name or the service requested.

Why we collect it

To answer and route your calls, book appointments in your calendar, deliver call summaries to your team, and support and improve your call flow. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use caller information for advertising.

Call recordings and transcripts

Depending on your configuration and local law, calls may be recorded or transcribed to create summaries and improve your receptionist. You control whether recording is enabled and what disclosure is played to callers.

Storage and retention

Information is stored with our infrastructure and telephony providers under contract, and retained only as long as needed to run your service and meet our legal obligations. We will tell you exactly what is stored for your account on request.

Health information

NightShift is privacy-first and collects only what is needed to book or triage a call. We do not claim HIPAA compliance and our receptionist does not give medical or veterinary advice. Do not use NightShift as a system of record for clinical information.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct or delete your clinic's information, or a specific caller's information, at any time by calling the main line on (704) 223-1535. Callers may also ask to speak to a human at any point during a call.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update this page and notify active clinics. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
